May 2024: Matching donation of €10,000, (approx. $11,500 USD) in September 2023 to Respublika Foundation in Kyiv, Ukraine to support blood sample transportation to Munich, Germany for diagnosis of blood cancers. April 2024: First YOU Foundation Italy event for the Nepal Project, held on April 12, 2024, at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Milan, Italy. Featured speakers included Prof. Damiano Rondelli, President of the YOU Foundation, and Prof. Bishesh Poudyal, Board Member and Head of Hematology at Civil Service Hospital in Kathmandu.
May 2023: The Universidad Mayor de San Andrés – UMSA, in Bolivia, honors Damiano Rondelli, MD with an honorary degree.
April 2022– The American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT) Public Service Award is presented at each year’s TCT Meeting. The award recognizes an individual outside of the ASTCT membership who has advanced the interests of blood and marrow transplantation or given special service to the patients and families that we serve.
